After his arrest, Pat Mahomes Sr.'s ability to attend Super Bowl 58 is decided by a judge.

Saturday saw Pat Mahomes Sr. arrested for DUI. He can fly to Las Vegas to watch his kid play in the Super Bowl.

TMZ reports that Judge James Meredith didn't ban Mahomes from traveling as part of his release. 

He'll be legal to attend Sunday's game, but he may not. However, Mahomes cannot drink and must have a car interlock. He must also consent to random testing.

The father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was released on a $10,000 bail. The police report said they stopped him for normal traffic.

He was arrested for DWI in 2012 and 2018. Pleading guilty to the 2018 offense got Mahomes Sr. 40 days in jail.

Texas can sentence him to 10 years for his third-degree crime. 

Over 11 seasons, Mahomes Sr. pitched for six teams in MLB. His arrest happened the weekend before the younger Mahomes leads the Chiefs to Super Bowl 58 over the 49ers.

Mahomes told reporters Monday night that the problem is "a family matter" he'll "keep in the family."
