Cindy Morgan, 'Caddyshack' star, was discovered dead at 69 when a flatmate noted a'strong odour'.
Indiy Morgan, best known for her appearances in the early 1980s films "Caddyshack" and "Tron," died of "natural causes" at the age of 69, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office report in Florida.
Morgan's body was discovered in her bedroom at her Lake Worth Beach house on December 30, following a 911 call from her flatmate, who last saw Morgan alive eleven days before, according to the sheriff's office.
The flatmate informed police that she had just returned from 'a holiday visit' when she knocked on Morgan's door and got no answer.
The flatmate also detected a "strong odour coming from her room," according to cops.
The sheriff's office stated that Morgan died of "natural causes," and that no foul play was suspected. It is uncertain when Morgan died.
Morgan gained to prominence in 1980, when she played the promiscuous Lacey Underall in the golf comedy "Caddyshack" opposite Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and Rodney Dangerfield.
In a 2012 interview, Morgan stated, "'Caddyshack' was my first film, and I'll admit that the ultimate result was so radically different, it was originally about the caddies. So, at initially, I had nothing to lose from auditioning.
It was enjoyable. I only focused on making the person sweat. Look them in the eyes and do something that many women know how to do.
