Eric Bieniemy spoke with the Chiefs offense before the Super Bowl.

Eric Bieniemy's career as Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator resulted in three Super Bowl appearances and two wins.

While they made it this far without him, head coach Andy Reid did welcome him back at one point.

Reid told the media on Wednesday that Bieniemy came in and chatted with the offensive players prior to their AFC Championship Game victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Bieniemy served as the Washington Commanders' offensive coordinator for the 2023 season.

However, the squad had a poor season, finishing with the NFL's second-worst record.

Bieniemy was fired after the season, along with head coach Ron Rivera, and he currently has no employment lined up for the 2024 season.

Andy Reid certainly still thinks kindly of Bieniemy, and he is still popular in Kansas City.

Perhaps Bieniemy will return with the Chiefs in a more official position following the Super Bowl.
