Jelly Roll and Tori Kelly will serve as guest mentors and perform on the new 'American Idol' season.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Jelly Roll and Tori Kelly will appear on American Idol as guest coaches and performers during season 22 of the long-running singing competition.

Jelly Roll, a singer-rapper-songwriter, was recently nominated for two Grammy Awards: all-genre best new artist and best country duo/group performance for his song "Save Me" alongside labelmate Lainey Wilson.

In November, Jelly Roll won his first CMA Award for new artist of the year. The Billboard cover hero also had three consecutive No. 1 Country

Airplay hits in 2023, with "Son of a Sinner," "Need a Favour," and "Save Me." Meanwhile, his collaboration with Jessie Murph, "Wild Ones," is currently at 35th on the Billboard Hot 100 across all genres.

Of course, this is not Jelly Roll's first appearance on Idol. Last year, he performed "Save Me" with Wilson on the American Idol finale.

He also performed "Need a Favour" alongside Idol finalist Oliver Steele.

Kelly's forthcoming performance is a homecoming of sorts, as she established her career in part through American Idol, making it to Hollywood Week in season 9.

She went on to release her debut EP, Handmade Songs, in 2012, and has scored hits such as "Nobody Love" and "Never Alone," which features Kirk Franklin.
