WWE alters WrestleMania plans to allow Cody Rhodes to conclude his narrative following significant fan outrage, asks veteran

Wrestling veteran Matt Morgan feels WWE should adjust its WrestleMania plans to allow Cody Rhodes to complete his storyline.

After winning the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes confronted Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

While many expected the two to face off for the second year in a row at WrestleMania 40, The American Nightmare stated last Friday that he would challenge The Tribal Chief for the title, but not at the Show of Shows.

Meanwhile, The Rock returned to SmackDown to confront The Bloodline's captain, potentially setting up a match for WrestleMania.

His return sparked strong reactions from fans who wanted to see Rhodes finish his journey.

When a fan asked Matt Morgan on the Gigantic Pop podcast if he thinks the company will change their WrestleMania plans to include Rhodes in the Undisputed WWE Universal Title picture in response to the fans' outrage.

The former superstar said they should. After confirming that he will not challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, sources say Cody Rhodes will face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40.

According to Xero News, a World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat bout is also being discussed. Drew McIntyre, according to reports, might be the third superstar to wrestle in that bout, after Rhodes and Rollins.
