After collecting nine Country Music Association nominations at the 57th Annual Country Music Prizes on Wednesday (November 8), Lainey Wilson was able to walk away with five prizes, including the most prestigious title of Entertainer of the Year.

That was the year that my mother and father took me to Nashville for the very first time, and it was also the year that I went to the Grand Ole Opry for the very first time.
She went on to say, “It was the year that my mother and father brought home a horse named Tex. “Since the horse was untamable and required breaking, they mounted me on its back and instructed me to retain my grip and ride.” I will tell you the truth; there were times when I was weeping and I wanted to get down, like, let me off the back of this animal, but you know, every time it would start bucking, I would hold on a little bit tighter, and I believe it was the thing that prepared me for this trip because it is so wild. I am grateful that you enable me to be myself.
With her blockbuster album Bell Bottom Country, which was released in 2022, and her hit song “Heart Like a Truck,” Wilson has unquestionably established herself as one of the most prominent women in the country over the course of the past year. Her collaborations with Jelly Roll on “Save Me” and “Wait in the Truck” with Harry, which also won two Country Music Awards for Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year, have also elevated her to this position.

Lainey Wilson is scheduled to begin her European and Australian tour dates in 2024, following the conclusion of a series of events starting at the end of November and continuing through December 2023. These shows will include a limited run of performances at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada, which will take place from December 13 through December 16.
Jackson Dean, Kameron Marlowe, and Harper O’Neill will be among the special guests that will be appearing on the tour, which will begin on March 20 in Melbourne, Australia, and conclude on May 3 in Oslo, Norway. On May 31, Lainey Wilson will continue her country’s Cool Again North American Tour, which will begin in Nashville, Tennessee, and end in Monroe, Louisiana, on November 16.
